1.- BACKGROUND

b) Preference or customisation cookies: These allow the website to remember information so that the user can access the service with specific features that may differentiate their experience from other users, such as language, the number of results displayed when performing a search, the look or content of the service depending on the type of browser through which the user accesses the service or the region from which they access the service, etc.
If the user themselves selects these features (e.g., if they select the language of a website by clicking on the corresponding country flag), the cookies will be exempt from the obligations of Article 22.2 of the LSSI as they are considered a service expressly requested by the user, provided the cookies serve solely the selected purpose.

The information collected by this type of cookie is used to measure the activity of websites, applications, or platforms, with the aim of improving the service based on the analysis of the usage data provided by users.
d) Behavioural advertising cookies: These store information on users' behaviour obtained through the continuous observation of their browsing habits, allowing for the development of a specific profile to display advertising based on that profile.
3.3.- According to the duration of activation
a) Session cookies: These are designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a web page.
