Tarragona stands out for its unique vineyards, being the Spanish province with the most Denominations of Origin. Starting with Priorat, the only wine region next to La Rioja whose DO has the qualification Q for quality, the landscape and the weather of the Costa Dorada bring together the best ingredients for growing vines. Conditions that have been used for thousands of years and that made Tarragona wines one of the most praised since the times of the Roman Empire.
The diversity of its lands makes the province an ideal place for the grape harvest and its transformation into wine. It is with good reason it the one that adds the most DO: Catalunya, Penedès, Tarragona, Conca de Barberà, Montsant, Priorat y Terra Alta. Without forgetting the Cava, of course.

Michelin Star

The gastronomic diversity is one of the attractions of the Costa Dorada, which has countless establishments with an excellent range of restaurants. The two oldest and most historic are in the fishing village of Cambrils. On the one hand, Can Bosch, which has enjoyed a star from the prestigious Michelin guide since 1984, and on the other, Rincón de Diego, which has been part of this select group since 2005.
The Deliranto restaurant in Salou has been the last to join the list of those distinguished with a star.
About 80 km away, in the regions near the Ebro Delta, we find three more restaurants with Michelin stars. In the small town of Ulldecona: Les Moles y l’Antic Molí. The other is Villa Retiro, located in Xerta, within the majestic hotel of the same name, with a 5-star category.

The fishing district, "El Serrallo", is one of the most typical of the city, where you can find restaurants that offer cuisine based on fresh sea products.
